Dear Wellspring Readers ~
It’s time for this month’s fresh contributor post to the Whatever Girls blog for “intentional moms, intentional daughters.” I have the privilege (if one can call it that!) of being the writer who writes about shame issues – a topic that typically doesn’t garner warm fuzzies. On the other hand, living in the imprisoning shroud of shame is nothing short of death to living life the way God intended.
Shame is one of Satan’s top tricks, precisely because it works so well. Because it is a time-worn tool of choice, he’s given plenty to study and learn about shame’s origin and operation in the lives of believers.
In that regard, it IS my privilege to write on the topic of shame for the Whatever Girls, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. (II Corinthians 10:4)
