Dearest Abba,
Happy eternal Father’s Day! One day a year does not suffice for recognizing You as the only Father from whom all of us have come. Brothers and sisters, all.
So many generations; so many children you have, dear Ancient of Days. Yet no one escapes your notice. They can’t because You are the Father of Light! Darkness is as light to you. You shine and shine some more. You always have your God-Glow on.
“Every desirable and beneficial gift comes out of heaven. The gifts are rivers of light cascading down from the Father of Light.” James 1:17a MSG
Rivers of light cascading down…! As a “wellspring” how I love the sound of that.
In Your light we see light. Light everywhere as we turn to You who shows no shadow of turning. You have been and will always be our Steady Edison.
Your gifts from heaven are wonderful; we know that well and depend on them. But the light that streams like rivers from You as You release those gifts is a priceless gift in itself.
Both now and when we are together forever with you, thank you for being our Father, the Illuminator.

And your Father is my Father – According to AW Tozer, He is infinite, knows no limits, no bounds and no end. What God is, He is without boundaries. All that God is, He is without bounds or limits!
