“Wellspring” First Anniversary & Birthday Edition

Today it’s joyously appropriate to publish an extra edition of “Wellspring of Life!”

One year ago today, our granddaughter, Rielyn Jolene Bentz, made her entrance into our world. In obedience to Holy Spirit’s undeniable instruction to me that “Nancy, it is time to start writing again,” I published my first blog post the evening of her birth and dedicated the “Wellspring” blog to her.

Is she not just simply adorable?! (…and everyone’s head nodded with agreeing grins!)

Considering all that this past year has contained, I am grateful the Lord impressed on me that it was time to resume writing after a drought of two long years. I’m even more grateful that I responded.

To have captured the past year of life through this blog is a gift and enduring testimony of the Lord’s extreme love and faithfulness no matter what path may unfold before us.

To the best of my ability, I am also following closely the other command the Lord clearly stated to me as regards any writing I do…

“Point them to Jesus.”

That, for me, is the greatest honor. How much more a privilege it is to point all my generations to Him.

So, happy first birthday, Rielyn Jolene! Grandma Nanc loves you so very much. Just wish Georgia was not so many miles away from Spokane.

And happy first anniversary of “Wellspring of Life,” Jesus! It is only because of You that my “wellspring” is able to be Your channel flowing with rivers of living water.

“How precious are your thoughts to me, O God. How vast is the sum of them!” (Psalms 139:17)

Please keep them coming! There’s infinitely much more of You to capture.
