Shammahs Field LLC / Shammah Ministries is pleased to announce the graduation of the inaugural 2012 class of the Elijah House Level 1 Video School for Prayer Ministry!
We began the four-month school on January 25, three nights after we moved into our new offices & classroom suite. At times we wondered who the eager beavers were that did that scheduling…but God’s grace prevailed! The video school got underway, though not without some challenges and consternation presented in the form of quality control issues with some of the videos; all the office electronics being interfered with working properly; needed spiritual housecleaning quickly made evident as we inhabited the space vacated by former tenants; and last but not least, winter driving conditions in the early weeks of class.
However, God does all things well. And He certainly did with this little band of brothers and sisters in Christ that He brought together. In the midst of bonding that took place, we all experienced some of the video lessons within and throughout the class: Rightly Expressing Emotions! Inner Vows! Bitter Fruits! Accomplishing Forgiveness! Burden Bearing! How We See God! …just to name a few.
On May 16 we celebrated and honored the eleven students who constituted our first-fruits offering of lives impacted for God’s greater glory and good fruit-bearing.
It was a joy to see the material presented making impact in the hearts and minds of our students. It moved our hearts with compassion as we witnessed painful encounters with things deeply buried or never really understood. Above all, Christ was high and lifted up in our midst, and Holy Spirit was invited to move among us touching, healing, confirming, instructing, challenging, loving, and truth-telling.
We look forward to offering the Level 1 Video School for Prayer Ministry again in early 2013. It is our desire to then follow with the Level 2 Video School, thus drawing from a larger pool of students having successfully completed the prerequisite Level 1.
Our intercessors team met following the completion of the video school. There was unanimous, heartfelt agreement that the biblical principles presented in this material are life-changing when received and applied to one’s life.
God’s Truth is true and living and as applicable today as it has ever been. We released these first students with the admonition to go bear good fruit, in and through and from their lives for the building up and strengthening of the Body of Christ. May the seed sown these past four months result in an honorable, glorifying measure of the fullness of Christ.
